Reflections on PDA Lesson Plan - Info. Literacy Teacher Feedback: This lesson is absolutely brilliant!! As the students begin elementary school, they utilize the resource checklist. It is never too early to teach learners how to evaluate online resources when conducting research. When the students move on to middle and high school, they become proficient in reviewing Web sites and know what resources are credible. Designating a central location (i.e. Media Center) in each school to house the hardware and software makes this initiative feasible for all stakeholders. You definitely thought through this project and addressed every detail. Personal Reflection: I have worked with our library media specialists, curriculum coordinators and technology coordinators on information literacy and this project would work out great for a school with the resources. I think once students used it, they would quickly internalize the process and you could grow it as time goes on.
